Doctor Who / Thoughts about each Doctor....

ok so making my way through Doctor Who....
gotta say I don't really care for the 2nd Doctor.....

the 1st Doctor was kind of a pompous donkey...we'll give it to him as he was who knows how old....

the 2nd Doctor I think is supposed to be seen as jovial (a stark opposite of the 1st) but just comes off as weird, strange, and odd and not in good ways....

about 60 more episode until I reach the 3rd Doctor

[update] well I'm now onto season 11 and the 13th Doctor

the 3rd Doctor was still kind of a pompous donkey, self entitled, but a bit more personable
honestly maybe my favorite doctor

the 4th Doctor was a bit goofy but then they did say his brain might be a bit scrambled...
one of my favorite doctors...overall personality was good, sometimes high and mighty, mostly friendly and high-strung.

the 5th Doctor, I don't have much opinion about this doctor. So far the most approachable doctor.

the 6th Doctor was arrogant and brash
by far my least favorite doctor

the 7th Doctor was absent minded and gloomy
definitely a different approach to the Doctor

the 8th Doctor, I can't say much as he only appeared in a tv movie

the 9th Doctor, I can't say much only 1 season, and as the 8th doctor only appeared in one tv movie....transitioning from the 7th doctor to the 9th is a nice fit. From an absent minded and gloomy person to a slightly mentally unstable happy macho person

the 10th Doctor was a bit crazy, a bit goofy
one of my favorite doctors

the 11th Doctor was still a bit crazy and goofy, more involved in peoples lives

the 12th Doctor was a bit grump and sarcastic. Thinks he's hilarious
reminiscent of the 3rd Doctor.

and well only a few episodes in with the new Doctor, so can't say much....
this time the Doctor is a woman.... seems to have inserted herself into 3 peoples lives

so it seems that one of the security measures to help prevent spam and other bad bots was also blocking ipv6 users from the site...

my bad!!!!

which sucks because now I can't use that mod until they, if they decide to update it to work with ipv6

and as I know not everyone is tech savvy and doesn't know how to disable ipv6 on your device, I will just leave the security mod off for the time being.

So um..... to all who may have visited the forum and gotten the "Database Error" page....no the site wasn't down but the bouncer blocked you from entering....

ok...as much crap as everyone gives the Highlander II movie....
in retrospect, after watching all the other animated stuff.....
I can't talk poop about the movie 😂
yeah it's still, we don't talk about it.....because let's face it, the original movie was not made to be a squeal (or what do you call it when they make 4 more movies)....they wrapped it up nice and neat and poof the end....so to come back with anything is just bs....
but comparatively to all the other shows (except for the series and the raven) 😂 this poop is awesome 😂😂😂

ug...and Highlander: The Search for Vengeance is a bust
pretty much the entire movie is just sex and war......

i'm an hour in and that's all this entire thing has been fucking and fighting with a few minutes of an actual story about the evil dude with a virus to kill everyone and he must be stopped.

well....Highlander: The Animated Series was a bust, I mean...it was ok (set in the future and another dimension were Ramírez is still alive), interesting but total chaos, slightly changing the backstory almost every episode, the entire theme of the series is that all immortals took an oath, all except for one (the bad guy) but then in later episodes there are others that didn't take the oath and then they rewrote the backstory to add a character, changing who said what and then of course they broke their oath to fight the bad guy....and of course this oath is really all it is is that they won't fight one another (that took the oath), so how does that stop them from fighting the bad guy, since he didn't take the oath....yet in almost every episode one of them ends up fighting the bad guy, to you know save the highlander...and apparently now, if you take the oath you can willingly force a quickening without being beheaded, you can pass on your knowledge and strength to another but you lose your immortality....and then of course they just cut the series so meh....

on to The Methos Chronicles....stupidity....some crappy flash webseries....I mean ok it gives some backstory to Methos but so not worth watching them (little 1 - 3 minute episodes, 16 in all, that I found)...apparently only 8 of the episodes are legit and the series was cancelled, the rest are fan made to complete the season 
hell I'd accept if it was all fan made as poorly as it was but it started out as an actual webseries and was absolute rubbish....I ended up just playing them in the background (just listening, not watching)....
on a side note I did find a fan created series that is pretty decent:

hopefully Highlander: The Search for Vengeance turns this bullshit around....I mean ok I wasn't expecting much, going into all of this full well prepared to be let down...
The first movie is good, the series is good (now I remember when it aired it was pretty awesome but well....we'll say now-a-days it's good), The Raven not too bad (follows Amanda, it's supposed to be after the original series, but then again she's a thief again, which during the series she stops being a thief because of Duncan....so either this is set before that, or afterwards and because Duncan's not in her life she reverts to being a thief again)
now hoping that the search for vengeance turns out to be ok because I already know that the other movies

Highlander: Endgame
Highlander: The Source
are all gonna suck....I mean that's why no one ever talks about the other movies.....nope there's just one highlander movie that's it... the 2nd movie is an affliction that never should have been created and yet they just kept making more sequels.....

I have tried to minimize jumping between shows

if it only says S01 that means all of that season
I've added a few extras that fall into the storyline

This one doesn't really follow a continuum....and we're not going to talk about the 2nd movie (you can skip it all together)...
think of it as, the movies are all set in different universes....which is why I have labeled them as alternative storylines, I do suggest watching the original movie first but honestly even that's not needed...
so well this is really a very loose suggestion....Watch the first movie, then the tv series, then the spin-offs, then follow with the rest of the movies....or watch all the movies then the tv series and the spin-offs.
just be forewarned to expect plot holes (chasms) and things to be left without answers....ENJOY

To be honest, you can watch the movies at any time....
they don't really fall inline with the series but are still nice to watch
I put them in the place of release date but you don't have to watch them then....it's more of a suggestion....as stated they don't really follow the series timeline
however that said, I would watch the movies before starting The Final Act ( season 8 )
